[NEWS]President Buhari reacts to news of Nigeria getting out of recession

President Muhammadu Buhari expressed delight over news of Nigeria being out of recession
- The president said this must translate to better lives for ordinary Nigerians
- He said Nigeria was on the right track and that things will get better
President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed satisfaction over news of the country being out of recession and said ordinary Nigerians must feel the impact.
NAIJ.com gathered that the National Bureau of Statistics had shown how the Nigerian economy came out of recession.

The president spoke when he received the President of Niger, Alhaji Mahamadou Issoufou, at his country home in Daura, Katsina state.
He also took to his Facebook page to express satisfaction over the news of the country getting out of recession promising to continue to do more.
He wrote: "I am pleased by the news of our emergence from the recession, and looking forward to ensuring that the ordinary Nigerian feels the impact.
"Until coming out of recession translates into meaningful improvement in people's lives, our work cannot be said to be done.
